Katie & Daniel's wedding in Tahoe last year was one of a kind. Because of the drought, the lake had receded quite a bit. Normally this might be a disappointment - but instead it was a huge blessing! There were thousands of lupine flowers growing where the lake had left the shore. Seriously gorgeous! You can bet that we spent PLENTY of time out in the flowers during golden hour. Couldn't have asked for a better location or weather had I planned it. Of course, if the location was great, the couple was better. Katie & Daniel are such an awesome pair. (And isn't Katie just the best name too? ;) Their wedding was fun-filled and family-focused. So glad I got to capture their special day!
