First wedding of 2015! Julia & Ben had a beautiful January wedding, on the first Saturday of the year. We started the day off at the Oakland LDS temple. No photographs can be taken inside, so I hiked a nearby hill to grab some outside shots of the temple while we waited. Then the happy couple exited and our photos began! The day was a hazy but sunny day, and created beautiful, romantic light. We found a couple parks nearby for photos (major props to Julia for climbing the hill in her dress!), then drove back to Turlock for the reception. We got to Turlock just in time for sunset, so of course we grabbed a few more shots outside and then inside the venue. The reception was SO fun and joyful. Julia & Ben are a lovely couple, and I was so honored to be a part of their day!
